Paddy O’Toole, host of the Inishturk Native Irish Honey Bee Sanctuary, introduces his grandson, Mícheál, to the island’s hives during his very first inspection. Following their introduction to the island on World Bee Day this past May 20th, reports confirm that the sanctuary’s pioneering colonies are healthy and thriving.
